About Mount CarmelServing more than half a million patients each year, Mount Carmel is the second-largest healthcare system in central Ohio. Our more than 8,000 employees and 1,500 physicians utilize state-of-the-art facilities, advanced technologies and the latest procedures to accomplish our mission of healing patients’ minds, bodies and spirits, improving the health of the communities we serve.

We pursue that mission through four respected hospitals — Mount Carmel East, Mount Carmel West, Mount Carmel St. Ann’s and Mount Carmel New Albany Surgical Hospital — as well as outpatient facilities, physicians’ offices, surgery centers, urgent care centers, community outreach sites and homes throughout central Ohio. We put our exceptional resources to work out in the community as well, through our Mount Carmel HealthProviders primary care and specialty physician practices, and our hospice, home care and community outreach services.

Mount Carmel is also dedicated to medical and nursing education, with six physician residency programs and Mount Carmel College of Nursing, Ohio’s fourth-largest baccalaureate nursing degree program.

All that aside, patients and their families are our top priority and we strive to make the most of their treatments, outcomes and experiences by continually investing in the people, facilities and technologies it takes to provide amazing healthcare every day.
