Edward H. Lamb
Edward H. Lamb is President and Chief Executive Officer of the Mount Carmel Health System. Prior to joining Mount Carmel, Ed served as the Western Division President for IASIS Healthcare, LLC and was responsible for its operations in Utah, Nevada, Arizona and Colorado. Previously, he served as President/CEO of the Corpus Christi Medical Center Health System. Over the past 30 years, Ed has held healthcare executive positions in Utah, California, Louisiana, Arizona, Alaska and Texas.
A Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), he is immediate past Chairman of that organization of more than 40,000 healthcare executives who lead hospitals, healthcare systems and other healthcare organizations. Prior to becoming Chairman, he served as a Governor and Regent of the organization and on numerous committees of ACHE over the last 25 years.
In addition to his service to ACHE, Ed served as Chairman of the Utah Hospital Association from 2014-2016. He is also a member of the American Hospital Association's Regional Policy Board 8. Ed was a member of the Board of Directors of the Alaska State Hospital and Nursing Home Association for 10 years and served as its Chairman in 2005.
He has also been active in community leadership, serving on the Board of the Anchorage Economic Development Corporation and as its Chairman in 2005; as Vice President for Marketing for the Greater Alaska Council of the Boy Scouts of America and most recently as a member of the South Texas Council Board; on the Board of Directors of the Anchorage Symphony and as its President for two years.
Ed holds a B.S. in medical technology from Brigham Young University and an M.B.A. from the University of Phoenix.
