Mark Hackman, M.D.
Dr. Mark Hackman has been a critical care physician at Mount Carmel East since 1985. He has also been a practicing internist with Canyon Medical Center, a primary care practice on the Mount Carmel East campus, since 1986.
Dr. Hackman earned his Bachelor of Science degree in psychology at The Ohio State University and his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo. He served his internship and residency at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.
Currently, Vice President of Medical Affairs for Mount Carmel East, Dr. Hackman has previously served as Chair of the Department of Medicine, Clinical Department Chair and President of the Medical Staff at the hospital.
Externally, he also serves as Associate Director of MediGold, Mount Carmel's Medicare Advantage Plan; as the Medical Director for Manor Care of Whitehall; and as a member of the editorial board of the American Journal of Quality Medicine.
Board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Hackman is also a member of the American College of Physicians, the American College of Physician Executives, the Franklin County Medical Society and the Ohio State Medical Association.
