Mount Carmel College of Nursing (MCCN) is the second largest baccalaureate nursing program in the state of Ohio. MCCN is among the top 10% in enrollment nationally, reaching a record enrollment in 2011/12 of 912 students. Enrollment has grown more than 80% over the past five years. With that growth has come an increasing need to provide qualifying students with financial aid and scholarships. Over 90% of the Mount Carmel College of Nursing student body receives either federal aid or financial aid/scholarships awarded by the College. In 2011, 90 students received almost $300,000 through the philanthropic support of donors to the Mount Carmel Foundation.
