Golf Invitational Raises net proceeds of $89,000 for Mount Carmel College of Nursing

It was another successful year for the Mount Carmel Foundation Golf Invitational, which generated $89,000 -- all benefiting the nursing students of Mount Carmel College of Nursing.

Held on July 11 at The Lakes Golf and Country Club, the event was supported by central Ohio businesses and community leaders. “Thanks to our generous sponsors and players who recognize the critical importance of nursing in our community and have come together to help students pursue their dreams of careers in nursing”, says Jan Burkey, Mount Carmel College of Nursing Director of Development. This year’s invitational hosted 49 corporate sponsors. AEP; HHA Services; and PNC lead Mount Carmel’s efforts as presenting sponsors.

With the success of this year’s outing, it will be held again next year at The Lakes Golf and Country Club on July 9th.
