On November 21, Commissioners were joined by Mount Carmel and HomeReach Hospices for the lighting of the Franklin County Hospice Tree. Each year, the Commissioners light the tree to remember friends and loved ones lost to terminal illness, and to raise money for two local hospice organizations that help ease the physical and emotional pain experienced by hospice patients and their families. As of December 20, hundreds of generous donors have contributed nearly $20,000 to Mount Carmel Hospice and donations are still coming in strong. For more information click here.
