Philanthropy is Making A Positive Impact for Victims of Crime

The Mount Carmel Foundation hosted a celebratory luncheon to thank James Laird from Diamond Hill Investments and Greg Arndt from MEDOutfitters for their generous support to the Mount Carmel Crime and Trauma Assistance Program (CTAP). CTAP is the only program in central Ohio that offers free, trauma-focused, best practice therapy to victims of all ages, races, genders, ethnicities, and socio-economic backgrounds to aid in reducing or eliminating the short and long term consequences that can result from being a victim of crime. In addition to the direct counseling services, CTAP performs outreach, personal advocacy, and education on trauma and its effects to our community.

Mount Carmel is able to offer this program free of charge because of private and corporate donations through the Mount Carmel Foundation and through grant funding. For more information about CTAP or to make an on-line donation go to mountcarmelfoundation.org or contact Lynn Weita, Senior Development Officer, at 614-234-3865 or This email address is being protected from spambots.
