Physician Philanthropy

The Physician Philanthropy Team at Mount Carmel is a dedicated group of physician volunteers who strive to create a culture of philanthropy among the Mount Carmel physician community.

Founded in 2004 by Drs. Jonathan Feibel and George Lewandowski, the committee works to identify ways to engage Mount Carmel physicians in the fundraising efforts of the Foundation. Since the committee’s inception, physician philanthropy at Mount Carmel has nearly doubled.

The committee also is involved in organizing the Foundation’s annual Champagne & Diamonds gala, which has seen net proceeds increase more than 50% thanks to the committee’s involvement.
