Robert “Bob” Ryan is the president and co-owner of Egan-Ryan Funeral Homes. He is a Certified Public Accountant, a member of the Ohio Funeral Directors Association and the Ohio Society of CPA's. Bob was named the 2001 Central Ohio Catholic Man of the Year for the Diocese of Columbus.
Bob and his wife are the co-founders and chairpersons of SPICE (Special People in Catholic Education), a program to support the education of special needs students in Catholic Schools. He is on the Board of Trustees of Nazareth Towers, a 278 unit low income housing facility in downtown Columbus. He is past president of Mohun Health Care Center Board of Trustees. Mohun Health Care Center is a skilled nursing facility for religious women and men and diocesan priests. He is an active member of St. Catharine Church. Over the years, Bob has been actively involved in various church and community organizations.
He received his degree in accounting and finance from the University of Notre Dame.
Bob was elected to the Foundation Board in 2010 and is serving his third term that runs through December 2019. He is the Foundation Treasurer/Secretary and serves on the Finance and Executive Committees.
